Tamar Okunhon

A powerful woman once said, "Everyday you have the power to choose". I am choosing to believe that my efforts to make a difference to Manchester's environment can contribute to a mass movement which includes cognisant individuals all around the world working towards a common goal of being the change they would like to see in the world. My journey in environmental activism began when I joined eco club in my school, and began to to maximise my impact by taking my passion and dedication to the outside world like when I joined the Manchester Youth Nature Consortium. Today, I am 16 years old and still continuing my activism, and hoping I make a much larger impact when I'm older in creating a world that's better than the way I found it.
