GMCR is a social enterprise that installs solar arrays on the roofs of local schools & community centres.
So far, we've funded 9 solar arrays and we have:
- generated enough electricity to make 70 million cups of tea;
- saved our partners £70,000 on their bills;
- prevented 300 tonnes of carbon emissions from polluting power stations;
- donated £27,000 to our community fund to support more eco-friendly projects.
We've launched a community share offer to help fund our largest solar array yet - almost 1,000 panels on the roof of Wellington School in Timperley.
Individual and businesses can invest as little as £100 in our project. You'll receive annual interest of up to 5% from 2025 and your capital repaid over 10 years (subject to performance).
For more information. please download the share offer document from our website.
